Delightful Details – Accessorize Your Space

Like an English country garden, this bedroom celebrates its eclectic, carefree nature. The dresser mixes plaid, diamond dot, and free-flowing abstract water designs against a pink background. A dragonflies swoops across the middle drawer, perhaps in pursuit of a woodsprite or other fairy creature. Pink and white blossoms with wild grasses and greenery appear to have been placed in two vases by the young girl now merrily gathering yet another bouquet in the garden above, secure in the knowledge that her two four-footed companions are keeping a watchful eye on her safety.

It’s a tea party for two. Crown-shaped pillow are comfy and elegant in white satin. A yellow butterfly pauses to survey the delicate china cups and saucers from the top of a mirrored armoire. If you shut your eyes for a moment, you can hear the clip-clop of the horse-drawn carriage as it makes its way down the mountain from the castle in the distance. The curtains are drawn back. “Okay, I’m cute and cuddly, but don’t mess with my twin owners’ purses – I am a guard dog after all, you know.” Peeking out from a 3-D doghouse in unstained balsam, this puppy is backed up by his pal, Mr Bullfrog – probably the most ferocious looking of the entire wall-hung menagerie. In fact, the llama seems more intrigued with an event happening across the room. And could the zebra actually be napping on the job? Nah, he must be showing his stripes as undercover agent.
