A Casual Landscape – Naturally

Like the magical gardens of a fairytale, this landscape seems so natural you’re hardly aware of it until you’ve arrived at the heart of the garden. Low growing shrubs cluster around boulders and mounds of rock where perhaps, if you are patient enough, you might hear enchanted whispers between the Wee Folk as they gather under starlight.

Mosses fill the space between irregular slabs of dark slate creating a meandering pathway before you. Lanterns set amid brightly colored blossoms give illumination n for us mere mortals who cannot see at night unaided. Follow this pathway, and you’ll arrive at an arch of curved timbers. Did Mother Nature herself cause the trees to spontaneously form this grand entry?

Turn a single corner and discover yet another unexpected delight – a carved log seat apparently growing from a rock wall. The surface is smooth and sensual – a perfect place to pause and simply contemplate the joy of everyday life.
